Mechanical Engineering, Intro #1

About this event

This series of two 90-minute hands-on learning sessions introduces and reinforces fundamental mechanical concepts.  A primary focus is on application of these concepts will be the main property of the class.

Concepts of a linear actuator and mechanical movement are introduced and reinforced with fun experiments and demonstrations. By the end students will be able to understand and create a mechanical engineering based invention along with obtaining a vast amount of knowledge on the basis of mechanical engineering.

The experiential nature of the curriculum requires limiting class size to 10 students; students should expect to work in pairs for some activities.
