Astronomy Workshop - Solar System 6:30-8:00 pm
About this event
Friday, July 17, 6:30-8:30 pm, we will focus on asteroids, meteors, and major impact sites. We will examine various meteorites, rocks from outer space that are older than the Earth, and even pieces of the moon and Mars! Explore the geology of the planets and moons, and learn how one big impact changed life on Earth.
We will hold single INTRO classes on the following dates:
Friday, July 17, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
Friday, July 31, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
Friday, Aug 28, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
Friday, Sep 11, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
We will offer other, more in-depth workshops this fall.
