Workshop: Computer Aided Design (CAD)

(Quicklink: https://nescitech.org/cad)

Join us for a brand new interactive workshop based in Computer Aided Design (CAD) with Arnav, a student instructor at New England Sci-Tech.

This workshop is primarily for students in grades 5-8, but older and younger students are welcome.

This 3-week workshop will help introduce the basics of computer aided design through engaging lessons via the CAD software Onshape.

The workshop will focus on building a foundation for students by teaching them how to make basic and complex sketches, creating objects, and making assemblies.

By the end, students will be able to start creating their own 3D designs with mechanical accuracy and industrial knowledge through more complex software.

Students can bring their own laptops or use ones provided by NEST.
