HomeWorkshop: Arduino Jam Session

Open Workshop: Arduino Jam Session

 Quicklink: https://nescitech.org/jam

For anyone in grade 4 through adult, join a new drop-in Arduino jam with Charlie Nicholson, a student instructor at NEST.

Drop in Friday evenings and work on whatever you're building. New to Arduino? We'll help you pick a first project and get it blinking, moving, or sensing something by the end of the night. Already mid-project? Bring it in and we'll debug, wire, or code through whatever's stuck. There is no fixed curriculum, just an open bench and help when you need it.

This workshop is FREE for members, $15 for non-members. RSVP required.

Jam size is limited to 6 students. Register only your child's name, but parents are encouraged to attend with their child. Bring your own computer (preferred) or use one of ours. Just make sure the latest Arduino IDE 2 is installed beforehand. You're also welcome to bring your own Arduino and kit.

Bio: Charlie is a junior at Wayland High School who first began working with Arduino in fourth grade. With five years of experience as a member of NEST, he has developed a strong background in electronics, programming, and hands-on problem solving. Charlie enjoys sharing what he has learned and is well equipped to help students build confidence with Arduino and bring their own projects to life.
