Planetarium - "Losing the Dark" 4pm - Public, Free

See New England Sci-Tech's booth at Science On State Street, Saturday, April 27, 12 - 3 PM, at Framingham State University.  Hosted by Christa McAuliffe Center and MetroWest STEM Education Network.  Free science festival for families and learners of all ages. Includes Planetarium Shows in the McAuliffe Center.

AT THE FESTIVAL see our demonstration of light pollution and learn how it negatively affects the environment. Find out how you can help by participating in a Citizen Science Program to contribute real science data to a global network. AND, sign up for a free planetarium show about light pollution at New England Sci-Tech.

AFTER THE FESTIVAL, the learning continues: Visit New England Sci-Tech and watch "LOSING THE DARK," free for the public, a multimedia show followed by a live star show in our inflatable planetarium. Learn about constellations and the Milky Way. Examine and hold several large meteorites – real rocks from outer space. Best for students in grades 4 and up.

The show is free as a public service hosted by New England Sci-Tech.  Space is limited so you must register to reserve specific seats for your group.
